LES training days
Jan Van der Hoek, consultant ophthalmologist at Scarborough hospital was clinical lead for three LES training days in 2011 more training if you wish to join the scheme will be held in 2012 and a letter from Lisa Barker is reproduced below:

The LOC funded three courses in February 26 at Scarborough Hospital (post grad centre) and two more at York district hospital on March 12 and April 16 2011.
The days were a mixture of lectures and workshops and targeted key clinical skills such as Goldmann tonometry and Volk lens examination.
NHSNYY will be running/funding new accreditation as detailed in the letter above.
